Walk with me

Walk with me

Let me wonder for a while in this joyous place of calm,
Let me lay for a while amongst the sweet scented blue bells.

Let me heal for a while surrounded by the sounds of the forest.
Let me dream for a while of happy times, silly times, and good friends.

Let me yearn for a while to fade away from a world of hate,
Let me yearn for more than a while of glorious re birth, into a world of hope.

Be gone with you apologist of despair.
Be dammed with you abstainers of forgotten dreams.

The light at the end of the tunnel,
is the one they say is too old.
The light they fear so much.

Opens your eyes to a world that could be.
Come walk with me with eyes and hearts open.
Don’t let them shut out the light.

The four horsemen of the apocalypse;
hate, austerity, greed, and despair.
Should have no welcome in our homes.

Come let’s dream a while?
Let’s love for more than just a little while?
