Home coming Joy

Home coming Joy

You were always there
Making home time, a joy time

When I stepped through the door
With a leap and a bound, you were upon me

You had the look of delight
Wagging your tail like in flight

Covering me in slaver
With a happy bark
You would belch in my face

Spinning round and round
You could not get enough of me

Bouncing around, my dear friend
Like a re union after years apart
Instead of breakfast time this morning

Your joy was infectious
Filling my spirit with love

When Tomorrow comes
It will be home time joy

Once again
