Top of the Shop
A measure for hard workers
From the ones with wealth from ill-gotten gains
The ones who never toiled till there hand’s bleed
Making the call in the bingo Hall of Bullingdon School
for tax dodgers
Food banks and working hard for your poverty
But its ok penny off a pint makes it alight
Another child going hungry for the scam of austerity
But its ok a full house on Saturday night makes it alright
Privatised and thrown on the scrapheap
Another disabled victim of hate and abuse
Top of the shop blind for the ruin of our kids future
The ones who have never worked hard for anything
Thanks to nanny and inherited greed
Living in a world of hate and wealth
As always they miss the sum of us
The sum of us that adds to more
Than mere Bingo and beer
